Welcome to my new blog!

Welcome!

Those who know me know that I have been primarily a watercolor artist after I was medically retired from the U.S. Army (2004)....

HOWEVER, about a month ago I picked up a few packs of polymer clay (because I thought it would be a way to help the stiffness in my hands from arthritis) and so my new addiction has begun.

I LOVE IT! I can't get enough of pushing the limits daily to see what I can get this stuff to do.
I've made turtles and fishes and lions! (OH MY) :)

Having been in utter awe of my daughter's handmade jewelry I have been inspired by how the latches and beading's and the general "putting together of" jewelry is done.

I created a prototype necklace where I drew my inspiration from a very lily paddy pond picture I found.

The pics aren't great (sorry, still learning how to blog and edit pics and stuff) but you get the general idea.
After I tweak the design a bit more and get some other things lined up I will make the pattern available. :)

I will most likely be posting once or twice a week, but will be checking in daily.

Welcome to you and I hope you enjoy!
